FDA Clears Synergy Biomedical’s BioSphere Putty

Collegeville, Pa.-based Synergy Biomedical received FDA clearance for its BioSphere Putty for bone grafts.

The BioSphere Putty using bioactive glass and a sphere shape for uniform, repeatable resorption and ion release. The device is designed to result in a high performance bone graft with faster, more robust bone formation.

Synergy Biomedical produces biomaterial-based orthopedic and spine supplies and devices.
