GE Healthcare has unveiled a new software program for producing a readable MRI scan in patients with metal implants, according to a Dotmed Daily News report.

It was designed to tackle a need for clear imaging of soft tissue in patients with metal hip, knee and joint implants. However, it is also effective for other metal implants, such as dental.
