This first meeting has been organized by the Implant Research Center at Drexel University and Exponent scientific consulting firm. Invibio Biomaterial Solutions, a developer of PEEK-based biomaterials for medical devices, is supporting the event.
Topics covered at the meeting will include properties of PEEK, test methods and processing, biocompatibility, wear properties, biomechanical performance of devices and more. More than 35 abstracts on PEEK medical device applications will be included in the conference program.
