Dr. Peters is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery, minimally invasive joint replacements and regenerative biologics. His clinical interests include spinal injuries, scoliosis, spinal disorders and deformities.
“Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery is all about relieving my patients’ pain, correcting their neurological and anatomic impairments without disrupting or destroying the valuable and naturally given environments we were born with,” said Dr. Peters.
Dr. Peters earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Allegheny University-Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia and a fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
