Conventus Orthopaedics’ DRS Implant Receives FDA Clearance

Conventus Orthopaedics has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Conventus DRS Implant to treat distal radius fractures.

The implant is designed to be less invasive for orthopedic surgeons, according to the release. Surgeons can treat a bread range of distal radius fractures without sacrificing stability.

The device also underwent a clinical study in Europe.
