Ohio Third Frontier Gives $3M to Medical Device Partnership Fund

Device company Ohio Third Frontier has invested $3 million in a partnership between Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and University Hospital Case Medical Center, according to News and Research Outcomes Magazine.

The initiative was created to provide a seed-fund for medical device and technology advances. Case Western will contribute $2 million and UH Case another $1 million.

Entrepreneurial students, regional device collaborators and other companies will be involved in the fund to invest in start-up companies and firms.
