Xilloc Medical acquires OTN: 3 things to know

Patient-specific 3D-printed implant company Xilloc Medical acquired Orthopedie Technologie Nijmegen for an undisclosed sum.

Here are three things to know.

1. OTN’s flagship product is the Click Safety Adapter, which is designed to make it easier to attach, remove and adjust an artificial limb.

2. Xilloc manufactured the first 3D-printed titanium cranial plate and the first 3D-printed titanium mandible.

3. With the acquisition, Xilloc offers a new Click Safety Adapter that connects directly to a patient’s skeleton.
