Wright Medical Group has launched its Ortholoc Polyaxial Locked Plating System for surgical treatment of foot and ankle fractures, according to a release from the company.
The system consists of three instrument and plating trays designed to help stabilize and fixate bone injuries of the forefoot, calcaneus or ankle region.
The titanium system allows surgeons to set the angle of screw placement into the plate for best anatomic fit and then “lock” the screw.
