Wisconsin Medical Society Honors Dr. William Jarvis as a Physician Citizen of the Year

William Jarvis, MD, an orthopedic sports medicine physician with Bone & Joint Clinic in the Wausau, Wis., area, was among nine physicians honored as Physician Citizens of the Year by the Wisconsin Medical Society, according to a Wausau Daily Herald report.

Dr. Jarvis was honored for his work in offering free medical treatment to injured athletes at local sporting and high school events. He earned his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. His additional training includes a fellowship at Cincinnati Sports Medicine.
