West Virginia Hospital Opens Orthopedics Wing

The 91-bed Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, W.Va., has opened a new orthopedics wing, according to a report by the Register Herald.

The $2 million wing, the vision of Brett Whitfield, MD, an orthopedic surgeon in Beckley, has ORs, four post-surgery rooms, one infusion room and a gym for post-surgical physical therapy.
