Washington DC Children’s hospital to open new sports medicine facility

Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., will open a new sports medicine center thanks to a $5 million gift from the Fight For Children charity.

The Fight For Children Sports Medicine Center will provide care and offer community outreach to help local student-athletes.

The center will use Children’s National’s outpatient clinics and health centers to provide consultations and treatment for student-athletes in their communities.

The sports medicine facility will be located in Silver Spring, Md.
