The medical center in Lexington had previously contracted with TeamHealth Anesthesia for these services. Now, six anesthesiologists from the Winston-Salem campus will provide anesthesia coverage in Lexington and additional anesthesiologists who specialize in pain management will join in the fall.
No jobs were lost during the transition, according to the report.
