Vermont Police Want to Use Prescription Database

Police in Vermont are lobbying to gain access to the state’s prescription database, but physicians warn that the database is to provide information to physicians for treatment rather than legal action, according to a Burlington Free Press report.

Gov. Peter Shumlin plans to reform legislation to battle the state’s prescription drug problem. That could include opening the database up to more users.
