Four things to know:
1. The theme of this year’s event focuses on advances in regenerative medicine.
2. Scientists, researchers, surgeons and physicians in the fields of regenerative, translational and orthopedic medicine will attend the event Aug. 24-27 at Vail Marriott Mountain Resort.
3. Topics of discussion include spine and vertebral issues, bone regeneration, aging, muscle, cartilage, ligament and tendons.
