The group has also received a mandate to continue their work worldwide. Group member participate in raising awareness for musculoskeletal disease, creating partnerships and supporting the advancement of musculoskeletal care and research. Over the past decade, the group established the Young Investigators Initiative to support clinician scientists, developed public education programs and participated in advocating on Capitol Hill.
Moving forward, the group’s primary focus will be on facilitating collaboration between the general public and organizations to improve bone and joint health, providing high quality musculoskeletal care, promoting data assessment and dissemination and offering access to interdisciplinary forums and programs.
