University of Kansas Health System adds new sports medicine clinic: 3 notes

The Kansas City-based University of Kansas Health System is establishing a new orthopedic and sports medicine clinic in Lawrence, according to the Kansas City Star.

1. The new clinic arose from the addition of orthopedic surgeon Jeffrey C. Randall, MD, to the University of Kansas Health System medical team.

 

2. The new clinic will be constructed in a 6,000-square-foot space in Lawrence.

 

3. This announcement marks University of Kansas Health System’s third expansion in the past few months; the health center has also announced a joint operating agreement with Kansas-based Hays Medical Center and a radiation oncology partnership with Topeka, Kan.-based Stormont Vail Health.
