What you should know:
1. Dr. Holcomb is a Macon, Ga.-based Mercer University professor and the Master of Athletic Training program’s founding director.
2. He earned a masters of sports science degree from the United States Sports Academy in 1988. He also holds a PhD in exercise physiology from Auburn (Ala.) University.
3. Dr. Holcomb is a National Athletic Trainers’ Association and National Strength and Conditioning Association fellow.
4. NSCA named him its 2017 Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist of the Year.
5. Dr. Holcomb is also a researcher. He e works on therapeutic modalities delivery.
