UAMS plans $85M orthopedics, sports medicine center — 3 details

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking approval to build a 185,000-square-foot orthopedics and sports medicine center in Little Rock, KATV reports.

Three details:

1. The proposed $85 million facility will have up to 12 operating rooms and a limited number of beds, according to the report.

2. Specialty clinics will include orthopedics, imaging, physical therapy, sports performance, research and education.

3. UAMS’ board of trustees will meet March 17 to consider the project.
