Two UGA Wide Receivers Undergo Knee Surgery

University of Georgia wide receiver Michael Bennett underwent a right knee menisectomy at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Ga., Tuesday.

Justin Scott-Wesley, also a wide receiver, had surgery at the same hospital yesterday to repair an injury to both menisci in his right knee, according to a news release. He will have ACL reconstruction at a later date that has not yet been specified.

Additionally, tailback Keith Marshall will have right knee ACL reconstructive surgery within the next three weeks. All three players were injured when Georgia played and won against Tennessee Saturday, according to the release.
