Orthopedic surgeons Greg Hoover, MD, and J. Mark MacNaughton, MD, will be joining the hospital to provide the emergency orthopedic coverage. Three additional local orthopedic surgeons will continue their private practice with hospital privileges.

Cumberland CEO Barry Wagner says he hopes the new orthopedic emergency department physicians will solve the hospital’s problems with providing coverage in the emergency room.
