Dr. Hackett has a special interest in sports medicine and conducts research at the Steadman Philippon Research Institute. He also serves as medical consultant to the Colorado Rockies and team physician for the U.S. Snowboard team.
Dr. Hackett also recently received the Vail (Colo.) Valley Medical Center’s 2012 Physician of the Year award, according to the report.
