Top 13 EHR for Ambulatory Specialists

University Survey has collected feedback on EHR experiences for 1,000 specialists providing ambulatory care and published their results in the 2012 EHR Assessment for Ambulatory Specialists.

The survey rated the top 13 vendors, which represented 70 percent of responses. The vendors were ranked in five different categories, including practice productivity, accuracy of data capture and ease of use. The overall rankings were:

2. eClinicalWorks
3. Modernizing Medicine
4. NexTech
5. GE
6. MedFlow
7. Athena
8. Cerner
9. Epic
10. NextGen
11. Compulink
12. Allscrips
13. Greenway

Orthopedic surgeons, ophthalmologists, dermatologists and cardiologists participated in the survey, which included 1,051 total responses.
