Here are Titan Spine’s next steps, according to the BizTimes.
1. The Mequon, Wis.-based spinal implant company plans to expand its proprietary nanoLOCK surface technology to other orthopedic implants.
2. Titan Spine will take its technology beyond spine to other orthopedic subspecialties. The company is looking into either a licensing agreement to process other companies’ devices with its nanoLOCK surface or design their own non-spine orthopedic implants.
3. The company is currently converting from an LLC to a C Corp. The company’s owners are considering growth options that include raising more private equity, selling the company or launching an initial public offering. However, the company isn’t in immediate need of more funding.
