Theft at Physician’s Office in Washington Jeopardizes Patient Data

A theft at a physician’s office in Washington has jeopardized the personal and medical information of certain patients seen from 1993-2004, according to a Sacramento Bee report.

Pieces of office equipment and CDs with patient information were stolen from the Renton, Wash.-based office of Paul C. Brown, MD, over the weekend of Oct. 14.
