Mr. Mars is a former Walmart U.S. executive and SPRI board member. He also practiced law in Arkansas and served as a director of the Arkansas State Police. He has a JD from the University of Arkansas School of Law.

The Steadman Clinic was founded by Richard J. Steadman, MD, and is currently managed by both Dr. Steadman and Managing Partner Marc Philippon, MD. The clinic focuses on sports medicine.
