Here are six highlights:
1. Nationally, the study includes 64 enrolled patients across 16 centers, with expected enrollment of 250 patients.
2. Of those 64 patients, Dr. Araghi has enrolled 11 patients in the Phoenix area.
3. The patients experience pain in their sacroiliac joint, and received Zyga’s SImmetry implant.
4. The SImmetry procedure involves placing bone graft and implanting threaded devices across the joint to ensure stability for intra-articular fusion.
5. The study will follow patients through 24 months.
6. Zyga expects to complete the study in December 2019.
