Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children Names New Orthopedic Surgeon Leaders

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas has appointed several orthopedic and spine surgeons to new leadership positions, according to a hospital news release.

•    J.A. Tony Herring, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and former chief of staff at TSRHC has been named chief of staff emeritus and will maintain his pediatric orthopedic practice.
•    Daniel J. Sucato, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and director of the Sarah M. and Charles E. Seay/Martha and Pat Beard Center for Excellence in Spine Research, has been named the hospital’s new chief of staff.
•    Steve Richards, MD, assistant chief of staff and medical director of inpatient services, was named the hospital’s new chief medical officer.
•    Karl E. Rathjen, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, was named president of the TSRHC Foundation.
