1. The new facility will be 345,000 square feet. It will provide patients with ambulatory care services and day surgery options.
2. In initial plans the facility was only 100,000 square feet but the square footage was increased to accommodate more services.
3. The Center for Excellence in Sports Medicine will anchor the center.
4. Several hospital officials and former patients gathered to break ground on Oct. 19, 2016.
