Texas Orthopaedic Association’s Donna Parker Honored as Executive Director of the Year

Texas Orthopaedic Association Executive Director Donna Parker was selected as the Executive Director of the Year at the National Orthopaedic Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C, according to an AAOS Now report.

Ms. Parker has served as the executive director for the TOA for 25 years. Past President and Legislation Chairman of the TOA David Teuscher, MD, nominated Ms. Parker for the award.

Ms. Parker helped create the Board of Councilors State Orthopaedic Society Committee, and she implemented the TOA Annual Meeting Socioeconomic Summit.

Dr. Teuscher hailed her ability to unite orthopedic institutions in Texas and across the country by serving as a resource for other EDs and AAOS staff.
