Dr. Freeman has also been a team physician for the Dallas Mavericks and U.S. Ski Team. He earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery. His additional training includes a fellowship in sports medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala.
