Texas Children’s Hospital Adds Sports Medicine Program

Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus in Houston has expanded its outpatient services to include a sports medicine program specifically for children, according to a hospital news release.

The program is designed to provide interdisciplinary diagnosis and treatment for sports-related injuries and conditions. Specialists in the program include primary care sports medicine physicians, pediatric orthopedic surgeons and sports-focused physical therapists.

Patients involved in the program will also have access to cardiology, neurology and pulmonary services.
