Ortho Kinematics is currently conducting three clinical trials, two at hospitals in the U.S. and one in the United Kingdom, and said the additional funds will allow the company to expand its commercialization plans, according to the report.
The technology Ortho Kinematics is developing will help surgeons to evaluate patients’ spine function and help to identify and rule out possible sources of pain, according to the report. The company hopes to have the product on the market by 2011.
