The new center includes a Wii room where patients can use the video game system for games or exercise. The renovations also include a coffee bar and an emergency pendant system. Patients wear the pendants that connect wirelessly to the orthopedic nursing station and are used to alert the nurses in case of a problem.
In addition to the medical services, Regional Hospital of Jackson offers a joint camp that offers preoperative meetings with specialists and education to patients about the recovery process.
