Temple University Hospital Surgeons Now Perform MAKOplasty Robotic-Assisted Procedures

Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia announced that its orthopedic surgeons are now performing MAKOplasty robotic-assisted total hip replacement and partial knee resurfacing surgeries.

The orthopedic surgeons offer both procedures using the RIO Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System, developed by MAKO Surgical.

 

Temple University Hospital is a 728-bed, acute-care teaching hospital.
