Surgery Hospital for Sports Medicine, Orthopedics and Cardiology Opens Near Houston

The St. Luke’s Lakeside Hospital has opened north of Houston, providing sports medicine, orthopedic and spine surgery and noninvasive cardiology care, according to a report in the Houston Business Journal.

The surgery hospital features 30 inpatient beds, 13 ambulatory care rooms, six surgical suites, nine post-operative rooms, three cardiac catheterization labs and onsite MRI, CT and nuclear medicine.

The new hospital is a collaboration between St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System in Houston and area cardiologists and orthopedic and spine surgeons.
