Researchers looked at nearly 150 patients over a two-year period diagnosed with osteoarthritis to see if Vitamin D reduced the symptomatic or structural progression of the disease. They found that knee pain reduced slightly in both the Vitamin D and placebo groups at the end of the study, but found no significant difference between them at any time.
