Sports medicine surgeon joins Slocum Center in Oregon: 5 points

The Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Eugene, Ore., welcomed Jeffrey M. Truman, MD.

1. Dr. Truman is a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon.

 

2. He has expertise in a variety of advanced procedures and techniques dealing with orthopedic sports medicine injuries.

 

3. A member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Truman is also part of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.

 

4. He received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and did a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.

 

5. Dr. Truman completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif.
