Dr. Thompson is affiliated with the University Orthopedic Clinic in Tuscaloosa, Ark., and will now cover orthopedic responsibilities at BWWMH as well. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his residency training at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. His additional training includes a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, N.C.
