Dr. Salvo was previously the director of sports medicine at The Cooper Bone and Joint Institute in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has served as a team physician for the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team and currently serves as a regional and national orthopedic surgeon and instructor. Dr. Salvo has a professional interest in ACL reconstructions, shoulder instability and rotator cuff repairs.
Dr. Salvo earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Albert Einstein Medical Center, both in Philadelphia. He also completed a sports medicine fellowship at the UHZ Sports Medicine Institute at the University of Miami.
