Sports Medicine Physician Joins New York’s Champion Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine

Andrew W. Gottschalk, MD, a sports medicine physician, has joined the medical staff at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport, Pa., and Champion Orhtopaedics & Sports Medicine in Olean, N.Y., according to an Endeavor News report.

Dr. Gottschlak earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He also completed a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Gottschalk’s past experience includes medical coverage for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians. He has also provided medical assistance to people in El Salvador, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.
