Dr. Thompson received his medical degree from Albany (N.Y.) Medical College and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. His additional training includes a sports medicine fellowship at the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
Dr. Thompson is a member of several professional organizations, including American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
