Dr. Maffet has a professional interest in knee and shoulder arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where he also completed his residency. Dr. Maffet’s additional training includes a sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
Prior to joining Methodist Orthopaedic Specialists, Dr. Maffet served as a team physician for Houston Baptist University, the Houston Comets WNBA team and several area high schools.
