Spine Surgery Company NuVasive Reports 42 Percent Sales Increase

NuVasive, maker of minimally-invasive spine surgery devices, posted third-quarter sales of $94.9 million, up 41.8 percent from the $66.9 million that it posted during the same period last year, according to a release from the company.

The company reported that net income for the three months ending on Sept. 30 rose to $5.1 million, compared with a net loss of $23.1 million during the third quarter of 2008.
