Spine Pain Management to Open Second Clinic at Dallas Medical Center

Houston-based Spine Pain Management (SPIN) has it has entered into an agreement with Forest Park Medical Center in Dallas to open its second clinic within the state-of-the-art facility, according to a SPIN news release.

Forest Park, a physician-owned, full-service, acute-care hospital that focuses on high-quality surgical services, will facilitate SPIN’s medical spine injection procedures, according to the release.

“This marks an important milestone for our company that seems to fall completely in line with our business strategy,” William F. Donovan, MD, SPIN’s CEO, said in the release “Dallas represents an incredible opportunity for our company. We believe the synergy between both organizations, will provide the community with a trusted name in high-quality, cost effective medical care services for spine injury patients.”

SPIN opened its first spine treatment center in Houston, and the center reported revenues for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2009, were $230,000, with a net income of $119,642, according to the release. The company is starting a nationwide “roll out” of spine treatment centers, and plans on opening 7-10 centers in the country over the next 24 months.
