Three things to know:
1. The 3D printing facility will develop patient-specific models to enhance surgical planning and patient care.
2. It will focus on automated workflows so physicians can have more facetime with patients and spend less time studying prints.
3. In July, axial3D raised $3 million in a funding round to facilitate its growth into the U.S. The company aims to open an office in the U.S. to better serve its customer base and develop its machine learning team to make 3D printing more accessible for hospitals.
