Spartanburg Regional opens new Sports Medicine Institute

Regional Healthcare System opened a new Sports Medicine Institute in the North Grove Medical Park, according to GreerToday.com. Both organizations are based in Spartanburg, S.C.

Orthopedic surgeon Stephen Kana, MD, recently joined Spartanburg Regional’s Sports Medicine Institute team. Dr. Kana focuses on knee, shoulder and elbow injuries. He enjoys carpentry and woodworking; orthopedic practice combines his interests in engineering, carpentry and medicine.

 

Dr. Kana will see patients at the new location alongside orthopedic surgeon J.D. McDermott, MD.
