Sheikh Zayed Institute in Washington Opens Pain Medicine Care Complex

The Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington announced that it has opened a new Pain Medicine Care Complex.

The complex features a multi-sensory room in which physical therapists uses video gaming therapy to distract patients while digitally measuring treatment progress. It also includes an interactive POD bed and telemedicine technology.
