Seattle Seahawks to fund certified athletic training programs at 4 high schools

The Seattle Seahawks have awarded a $50,000 grant to put certified athletic trainers into two school districts in Washington.

The grant was awarded to the the orthopedics and sports medicine department at Seattle Children’s and their athletic trainers program. The trainers will be at sporting events for the Renton and Tukwila school districts.

 

Both of the school districts were grateful that their high school athletes would have the opportunity to be seen by athletic trainers.
