The debridement of the glenoid labrum, biceps tendon and rotator cuff was performed on Mr. Richard’s left shoulder at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, Calif. Mr. Richard first experienced pain in July and opted for surgery when the pain failed to subside.
The surgery is season-ending, but he is scheduled to begin his rehabilitation program within days of surgery.
