Sanford E. Emery, MD (West Virginia University, Morgantown). Dr. Emery is a chairman and professor of the department of orthopedics at West Virginia University School of Medicine. He was elected the president of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery serving in 2013-2014.
He has also served as president of the Cervical Spine Research Society.
Dr. Eismont earned his medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Rochester. His additional training includes a spine surgery fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
